WE BUILD LEADERS

"THE WORLD OF THE 1990'S (AND BEYOND) WILL NOT BELONG TO "MANAGERS" OR THOSE WHO CAN MAKE THE NUMBERS DANCE. THE WORLD WILL BELONG TO PASSIONATE, DRIVEN LEADERS - PEOPLE WHO NOT ONLY HAVE ENORMOUS AMOUNTS OF ENERGY BUT WHO CAN ENERGIZE THOSE WHOM THEY LEAD."

(Jack Welch, 1987)

Club 1067 - A Team Grandmasters is an advanced club for current or past district, division, and area leaders. Recently, its membership has been extended to Club Presidents, and Vice Presidents of Education.

The mission of our club is to provide leadership training and education. To current leaders we provide leadership resources and a think tank, based on the collective experiences of our members. To past leaders we provide an avenue to continue their leadership education and to share their wisdom with current leaders. We are honored to include in our membership, past district governors, past division governors, past area governors, and many other key individuals that have served District 12 with pride.

We meet once a month, on the first Saturday at 6:29 pm at the IHOP restaurant in Upland. Our programs are focused on subjects relating to leadership growth, and our educational sessions cover issues that are designed to help the current area governors and other division council members in performing their roles and responsibilities. We would be delighted to have you visit our club and see for yourself the impact that we may have on your journey towards leadership growth.

Club 1067 elects its Executive Officers for a one-year term, and for the 2009-2010 Toastmaster International year the following officers have been elected:

Linda Kersey, CC, CL, Division A Governor

President
Marjorie Benesh, DTMVP of Education
Louise Clark, AC - GoldVP of Membership
Betsy Wills, DTMVP of Public Relations
Kay Mellen, DTM Secretary
Linda Russell, DTMTreasurer/Librarian

We strongly encourage our members and guests to arrive early to network. We are a leadership club and we recommend business casual, or business attire.
